Help the Kiwanis family put some meaning in Halloweening by supporting Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF! Kiwanis K-Kids and Circle K International are raising money for Brick x Brick — CKI’s partnership with UNICEF USA to create a brighter future for kids in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso’s wheelchair ramp installation project, which won a Signature Project Bronze Award in 2023, is still going strong in Indiana, U.S. Club members just installed their 218th ramp last month!Our ramp team is at it again! This group of dedicated Kiwanians installed its 218th ramp in the history of the program. This was a 36' project that was installed in Valparaiso.
We are happy to help to improve the lifestyle of Cindy, in the wheelchair. She took her first ride shortly after returning from a doctor's appointment as we finished up. Son, Matt, a Hobart Firefighter, was instrumental in helping clear the site for us.
There are currently 80 Kiwanis ramps in use in Porter County.
Our club's ramp committee provides safe access to Porter County homeowners by way of installing and maintaining handicapped ramps for those in need. We partner with the Porter County Adult and Community Services on qualifications for ramps. ... See MoreSee Less
