The Kiwanis Club of Frederick, Maryland, U.S., never wastes an opportunity to do good in the community. Their annual club picnic doubled as an occasion to collect school supplies for United Way, which will donate them to kids in need. #KidsNeedKiwanis
Kids need Kiwanis — but the reasons why are as varied as the communities where they live.
In a recent survey of Kiwanis members, respondents said the biggest needs of children in their communities were:
🔹 Food security.
🔹 School supplies for low-income families.
🔹 Access to safe housing.
🔹 Mental health resources.
🔹 Positive, engaging activities.
