Ready, set … read! The Kiwanis Club of Lafayette, Louisiana, U.S., delivered four bicycles and five scooters — with helmets, of course — to each of 24 area elementary schools. The United States Congress has introduced a resolution to adopt September 14-20 as Celebrate Community Week across the U.S. The resolution recognizes Kiwanis International, Lions Clubs International, Optimist International and Rotary International for their members’ service to communities.
