The Magic Yarn Project “Homespun Wigs for Little Cancer Fighters”
On March 7th, Kiwanis Club Members, Key Club members, and community volunteers assembled to create wigs made from soft yarn for children undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The event was organized and hosted by the PNW Kiwanis Div. 63 Lt. Governor (Susie Meyer) as part of the “Magic Yarn Project”. The handmade wigs will be donated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland. A second event is being planned for September 2020. To learn more about the Magic Yarn Project visit: themagicyarnproject.com or to volunteer in the future, contact Lt. Gov. Susie Meyer at [email protected].
